The sad news

I just received the call that Jack passed on this morning about 5:30.

As I receive more information, we'll make sure we post it, but as I understand it now, there will be a memorial service for Jack at Hendricks Avenue in Jacksonville this Saturday and another here in Atlanta the following Saturday at Second Ponce.

Jack was more than an interim director for Global Missions. In that time of transition, he helped us to dream and expand our vision of what it means to be the presence of Christ in our world.

To Jack's family: May God's peace and strength be yours during the hours, days, and weeks ahead.

Shalom,

Jim Holladay, Pastor
Lyndon Baptist Church

Anita, Charlie, Stephanie and Henry,
We just can't find the words to express how we feel today, but want you all to know how very much you are loved and how very, very much Jack will be missed by so many people. He is the best person we have ever known.
