Sunday afternoon update from Anita

I just spoke with Anita on the phone. Her cell phone has been lost - probably wrapped up in some linens. If you need to talk with her, use Jack's cell # - 404-428-6165.

They have had a very difficult weekend. Jack continues to get weaker. They are trying to find the best medications to help with the nausea as well as the restlessness.

They all appreciate the prayers, but have requested no visitors.

We will keep you posted as there is more information.

Dear Dr. Snell & Anita,
We love you, we continue to pray for you and we praise our Heavenly Father upon every rememberence of you. As we grow deeper in our faith, closer in our walk and increase in our kingdom service there are countless ways in which your lives both by council and example have had a profound influence in ours.(Matt5:16) May you find courage, strength,(Is40:31) comfort and peace (Is12:2) as you near the end of this leg of your journey. (Jeremiah 29:11) Love, Two who have been blessed beyond measure by your witness & testimony! Your treasures, Robert & Cindy Burrows

to the dear Snell family:

all of you are in my thoughts and prayers during this unimaginably difficult time... and in those of my fellow Lutheran congregation members as well as many others all over.

First, to Dr. Snell- you have my prayers for freedom from pain, nausea, & restlessness so that your remaining time is peaceful & comfortable. Thank you for everything you have done for me and my whole family.

Second, to Anita- you have my prayers for strength to carry you through when you don't think you can go another minute, much less another hour or another day. You are not alone... the wife that I once was aches for you and can only begin to fathom the pain of watching a life-mate wither away.

Third, to Charley & Stephanie- my childhood friends- (and Henry, whom I have not really gotten to get to know) you have my prayers for strength as well, and for peace during these last days. I too am a child-- and will ultimately walk a similar path. You do not walk it alone.

Fourth, to the amazing health care team looking after all of you,
May God give you the wisdom and the tools to help ease Dr. Snell's pain and suffering so that the whole family can have peace. Your hands are God's hands... may He work through you.

God is with you during this time. May you feel His arms enfold you.

Love,
Elisa (Hanson) Casey & Rhianna

Jack & Anita,
As I read the comments written here by others, I just smile and nod in agreement with all of them!

How I wish it had worked out for us to have a personal visit with you a few weeks ago, but I have had many visits with you through my thoughts and prayers. I even had a dream and was able to share a great big hug with you - what a gift!

Please know how much you mean to the whole Walker family! You both blessed us by being a part of our wedding(20 years ago!), and even though we were no longer at HAB when Tory & Collin were born, they were blessed to know you and love you. You have had an impact on all of us, and we are better for it. You have and will continue to be God's vessel.

Peace to you in this last phase of your journey. I will humbly and proudly be in the choir at the celebration of your life. As Brenda said in an earlier comment, I will be singing from the depths of my soul..."I Thank My God for every remembrance of you!"

We love you dearly!
Pam, Doug, Tory & Collin Walker
